SPECIAL GUEST PRESENTER:  Meet Heidi Kraay, who will not only be bringing us a little visual art but also the incredible art and gift of movement and writing.  Here is a little bit about HeidiShe is a Playwright, writer and theater maker Heidi Kraay writes to communicate with those who have been silenced (by themselves or loved ones or strangers), with the disconnected, the fragmented–hoping more of us can reach toward each other and learn how to live better together. She is an MFA candidate in Creative Inquiry, Interdisciplinary Arts at California Institute of Integral Studies (San Francisco). She currently shares time between California and Boise, where she writes, makes theater and teaches young artists through Boise Contemporary Theater and The Cabin. Full-length plays include Super Secret Site Specific Something (co-created with Tracy Sunderland and Sarah Gardner), New Eden and DIRT, which attempt to hold out a hand and connect us by sharing time, space and the understanding that it’s hard being human. Heidi is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, Inc., check out her webpage for more information www.heidikraay.com.  We are going to be blessed to have her with us for this grand night!

DIRECTIVE FOR THE NIGHT:  In this multi-sensory experience connecting mind, body and environment, discover what we can learn from space, time and the hidden places inside ourselves, through writing, movement and visual art. We’ll work with our senses, memory and image to unlock stories and experiment with how we share them: exploring on our feet and recording on the page. Playing with how those words and images manifest in the space between us, we’ll come away with a stronger sense of who and where we are in this moment
